About the yacht

30m charter motor yacht with a non EU flag, 6 crew and 10 guests.

The project

We are looking for a Chef for a seasonal position starting ASAP until the end of September.

The yacht is currently in Croatia, but will also travel around Italy and South of France. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Planning and Preparation:
    • Design and execute gourmet Mediterranean menus tailored to guests’ preferences and dietary restrictions.
    • Source high-quality, fresh, and local ingredients from various ports of call.
    • Prepare and present meals with a high level of creativity and precision.
  • Guest Interaction:
    • Engage with VIP and Charter guests to understand their culinary preferences and provide personalized dining experiences.
    • Deliver exceptional hospitality and service, ensuring guests’ satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Management:
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary galley.
    • Manage inventory, including provisioning and stock rotation.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Captain and crew to plan and execute special events and themed dinners.
    • Coordinate meal service with the steward/stewardess for timely and efficient service.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability:
    • Adapt menus and cooking styles to suit various guest preferences and regional ingredient availability.
    • Handle last-minute changes and special requests with professionalism and poise.

Desired profile

  • We are looking for a male candidate due to cabin reasons
  • Proven experience as a Yacht Chef or in a similar high-end culinary role, with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
  • Exceptional culinary skills, with a strong emphasis on presentation and flavor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., French, Italian) are a plus.
  • Valid STCW95 certification and ENG1 medical certificate.

Salary: 6000-7000 euros per month, DOE
