HOUSEKEEPER POSITION - EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED
About the Villa
The villa is located in Nice. It is privately owned.
This is a second home.
It is an absolutely beautiful Villa with beautiful gardens surrounding it.
This a very nice and respectful family.
The clients are French.
This is a ideally a LIVE OUT position. There is a possibility from time to time to sleep in the villa if you are too tired to go home. Indeed, there is a single bedroom and single bathroom that can be at your disposal.
For experienced candidates, there is a possibility of a Live in position. There is accommodation in another building on the property wherein you would have your own living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen.
The project
We are looking for one Housekeeper ready to start working from beginning June 2024 until the end of September 2024.
There are 1 Head Housekeeper and 1 Villa Manager working there on a permanent basis, as well as a Handyman.
The workload will be less intense in the absence of the owners, and more intense in their presence.
Flexibility is hence a key factor in this case, however, the management is extremely fair in terms of adjusting your total working hours over the period of a month.
You will in charge of doing the housekeeping and the laundry as well.
From time to time and especially when the owners or their family are in the Villa, you will need to give a hand on service. This is family style service, therefore we are expecting an informel style of service.
For the Housekeeping:
- You will be in-charge of vacuuming/cleaning floors, carpets, surfaces, etc.
- You will be in-charge of making the beds, changing linens, setting up the bedrooms and bathrooms, etc
- You will be in-charge of cleaning/sanitizing bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, and countertops
- You will be in-charge of replenishing toiletries, towels, supplies, etc
- Ensuring the main areas as corridors, living rooms are always dusted, tidy and well organized in accordance to the owner's habits.
- in charge of contacting (liaising with) the dry cleaners for all the owner's clothes which need specific treatment and ask them to come and collect them.
Most importantly, we would like a Housekeeper who understands the habits of the owners and their way of living.
For the Laundry:
- take care of all the duties in regards to the Laundry
- You will in charge of all the clothes and all the linen when the family is in the villa, and other linen such as towels, bathrobes, bath mats, bed sheets, pillowcases, kitchen cloth, table cloth, etc.
- You will be in charge of washing them and cleaning them, removing possible stains, drying them, etc.
- You will also be in-charge of ironing the linen, checking that they are in a perfect state before folding them in wardrobes or putting them on hangers in the dressings.
- You will also be in charge of ironing all the linen and the clothes.
- You will be in charge of cleaning the wardrobes and the dressings.
- You will be in charge of putting the clothes and the linen within the proper wardrobes and dressings.
- You also need to clean the handbags and the shoes before putting them back in the wardrobes.
- You will be in charge of putting/changing the bedsheets on all the beds, depending on the frequency given by the owners. The beds must always be immaculate and in a perfect state.
- You will also be in charge of contacting the dry cleaners for specific clothes that can not be washed by hand or in a washing machine but need specific treatment and ask them to come and collect them.
For Service: (when needed and when the owners, family and guests are in the Villa)
- You will be in-charge of meal services - the breakfast, lunch and dinner services.
- Setting up and cleaning the dining table, ceramics, cutlery, etc, before and after the meals
- Discreetly serving the food and drinks as requested by the owners
- Ensuring a discreet execution of services without being noticed by the owners, behind the scenes
We are also looking for someone who could, from time to time, and especially when the Head Housekeeper is off, prepare simple meals, family style cuisine.
Desired profile
- You must be very autonomous and able to report and respect your hierarchy in the same time.
- We are looking for someone who is passionate about service and likes to work in private villas. Previous experience as a housekeeper or as a Head Housekeeper is MANDATORY.
- You are comfortable in housekeeping, service and laundry.
- You are multi task and flexible, able to follow the processes that are already implemented and able to be reactive when facing something unusual. If someone in the team needs help, you need to be hands on. The team is very close, and everybody, even the Villa Manager work hands in hands.
- You are a smiling person, you like to work in a team and you are discrete. You have a positive attitude.
- You are autonomous but you know to work in a team.
- You are always on time and present well, you have a real sense of human relations and communication comes with an ease to you.
- You MUST speak French.
- You MUST have a car and a driving licence as you can not access the Villa easily, public transport option can not be considered.
- You DO NOT HAVE A CRIMINAL RECORD, you are honest and trustworthy.
Salary : 2500 - 2800 euros net per month
37 hours / per week
2 days off
Contract: French CDD contract
Weekends off when the owners are not around and flexibilty is required when they are in the Villa, you will have one day off during the week.

La villa est située à Villefranche, et est utilisée par les propriétaires et leurs invités, principalement pendant la saison estivale. La Villa est habituée à travailler sous des standings très élevés et répond à une demande privée uniquement. La villa n'est pas louée.
C'est une villa privée de 800m2 située à Villefranche. La villa est utilisée par la famille d'Avril à fin Septembre.
Vous serez en charge de faire le service du petit déjeuner, du déjeuner et du dîner en fonction de la rotation de votre planning Les tâches s'effectuent en rotation avec l'équipe.
Vous intégrerez une équipe composée d'un Villa Manager, une Gouvernante Générale, de deux Housekeeper/Employées de maison et d'un Chef. Des hommes factotum composent également l'équipe à l'extérieur de la Villa.
De temps en temps, il vous sera demandé de vous occuper du housekeeping en renfort de l'équipe existante, sachant qu'il y a plusieurs membres du personnel dédiés au département housekeeping et de la blanchisserie/buanderie.
Tous les postes sont non logés.
Le projet:
Nous recherchons une femme de ménage prête à commencer à travailler à partir de début avril 2023, jusqu'à fin octobre 2023.

Vous serez en charge de faire le ménage, le service ainsi que vous occupez du linge. Les tâches s'effectuent en rotation avec l'équipe.

Vous assurerez le ménage et vous occuperez de la lessive, et vous devrez :
- s'occuper de toutes les tâches en ce qui concerne la blanchisserie
- Vous serez en charge de tous les vêtements et de tout le linge lorsque la famille est dans la villa, ainsi que d'autres linges tels que serviettes, peignoirs, tapis de bain, draps, taies d'oreiller, torchons de cuisine, nappes, etc.
- Vous serez en charge de les laver et de les nettoyer, d'éliminer les taches éventuelles, de les sécher, etc.
- Vous serez également en charge de repasser le linge, de vérifier qu'il est en parfait état avant de le plier dans les armoires ou de le mettre sur cintres dans les dressings.
- Vous serez également en charge du repassage de tout le linge et des vêtements.
- Vous serez en charge du nettoyage des armoires et des dressings.
- Vous serez en charge de ranger les vêtements et le linge dans les armoires et dressings appropriés.
- Il faut aussi nettoyer les sacs à main et les chaussures avant de les remettre dans les armoires.
- Vous serez en charge de mettre/changer les draps de tous les lits, selon la fréquence indiquée par les propriétaires. Les lits doivent toujours être impeccables et en parfait état.
- Vous serez également en charge de contacter les pressings pour les vêtements spécifiques ne pouvant pas être lavés à la main ou en machine à laver mais nécessitant un traitement spécifique et leur demander de venir les récupérer.
Vous serez en charge de tout le ménage de la Villa, en vous assurant que toutes les chambres et salles de bains sont en parfait état. Que les pièces principales comme les couloirs, les pièces à vivre soient toujours dépoussiérées, rangées et bien rangées selon les habitudes du propriétaire.
Profil recherché:
- Vous devez être très autonome et capable de rendre compte et de respecter votre hiérarchie en même temps.
- Nous recherchons quelqu'un qui est passionné par le service et aime travailler dans des villas privées. Une expérience antérieure en tant que femme de ménage ou en tant que femme de chambre est souhaitée.
- Une expérience précédente dans l'hôtellerie ou même dans la restauration est souhaitée.
- Vous êtes à l'aise dans le ménage, le service et la blanchisserie.
- Vous êtes polyvalent et flexible, capable de suivre les processus déjà mis en place et capable d'être réactif face à quelque chose d'inhabituel. Si quelqu'un dans l'équipe a besoin d'aide, vous devez être présent. L'équipe est très soudée et tout le monde, même le directeur de la villa, travaille main dans la main.
- Vous êtes une personne souriante, vous aimez travailler en équipe et vous êtes discret. Vous avez une attitude positive.
- Vous êtes autonome mais vous savez travailler en équipe.
- Vous êtes toujours à l'heure et présentez bien, vous avez un vrai sens des relations humaines et la communication se fait avec aisance.
- Vous DEVEZ parler anglais. Le français est un plus.
- Vous DEVEZ avoir une voiture et un permis de conduire car vous ne pouvez pas accéder facilement à la Villa, l'option de transport en commun ne peut pas être envisagée.
- Vous N'AVEZ PAS DE CASIER JUDICIAIRE, vous êtes honnête et digne de confiance.
