About the Property:
It is a magnificent domaine of 3 hectares including 2 beautiful Villas of 1000 m2 and 700 m2 located in Saint Tropez. There are 11 bedrooms all in all. The Villa is facing the Mediterranean sea.
This position is ideally a LIVE-OUT position. Therefore, candidates living close to Saint Tropez would be preferred.
The project:
We are looking for an experienced & professional Handyman willing to take a long seasonal contract which, if both sides are happy, could become a permanent contract. We would equally be looking for a Handyman who has Service skills and could give a hand to the Villa Manager for the service of lunch or dinners.
The position is fill in as soon as possible. Of course, the Villa is willing to find the suitable candidate and they will conduct a proper recruitment. Therefore, the position will start soon enough, based on the path of the recruitment process.
You will be under the supervision of the Villa Manager and you will be working together.
The owners visit the Villa from Mid June / Beginning July until Mid September, for a period of about 3 months. They also generally come over for several weekends in April and in May.
During the autumn and winter season, the family will come from time to time to enjoy their home.
The duties of the Handyman will be as follows:
You will be in charge of all the technical duties in regards to the exterior part of the Villa and you will report directly to the Villa Manager of the property.
More precisely, you will be in charge of :
- Sweeping and cleaning all the terraces.
- Making sure all the exterior area, entrance, guard room, technical rooms and alleys remain always clean and tidy
- Bring the bins out and clean the bins
- Taking care of the garden area and assisting the gardener(s), indeed, there are already gardeners working in the property. You will give them a hand from time to time. Every body works and helps one another within the team.
- Cleaning the cars on the property as instructed ( inside and out, fueling the cars, making sure that the tires are pumped up, that there is always oil and general care of a car)
- Cleaning the swimming pool and making sure that there are no leaves in the water
- Checking the automatic watering system, looking over the garden and pool, and in case of issues, warning the contractors in case of big repairs. For small repairs, such as repairing a leak, you will be in charge.
- Transporting guests : there are chauffeurs in the Villa and security who take this part in charge but if needed in case of emergency, you can be entitled to doing so.
- Doing some groceries for the Villa, for the kitchen when the Chef or the Cook needs a hand on bying some products, buying or collecting some items for the owners if needed.
Of course, this list should not be exhaustive and can be completed by other and various demands.
You may also be in charge of :
- You will be in charge of doing small repairs in plumbing, electricity, painting, fixing doors if they do not open and close properly.
However, it is very important that you have a good knowledge in repairs, do-it-yourself jobs and in handy jobs in order to understand the kind of issues that could appear.
You would also be offering your assistance in the 'service' inside the villa as needed.
Desired Profile
- You must be very autonomous and able to report and respect your hierarchy in the same time.
- You are a multitasking person and flexible, able to follow the processes that are already implemented and able to be reactive when facing something unusual. If someone in the team needs help, you need to be hands on. The team is very close, and everybody, even the Villa Manager work hands in hands.
- Hardworking with a ‘can-do’ positive attitude
- You are a smiling person, you like to work in a team and you are discrete. You have a positive attitude.
- You are always on time and present well, you take care of your appearance, even if you are involved in manual jobs. (eg: you make sure that you do not wal into the Villa with dirty shoes on)
- You have a real sense of human relations and communication comes with an ease to you. You are a team player.
- You have a previous experience in manual jobs and you are skilled
- You have previously worked in private luxury villas and you know how to behave, you are polite and you have good manners.
- You MUST speak French, another language is a plus
- You MUST have a car and a driving licence as THERE ARE NO PUBLIC TRANSPORTS DESERVING THE VILLA.
Salary: EUR 2200 net/month - depending on profile and experience.
French CDD contract. Strong possibility of permanent CDI contract.

Ce poste est idéalement un poste NON-LOGÉE. Les candidats résidant à proximité de Saint Tropez seraient donc privilégiés.
Le projet:
Nous recherchons un homme de factotum/bricoleur expérimenté et professionnel prêt à accepter un contrat saisonnier de longue durée qui, si les deux parties sont satisfaites, pourrait devenir un contrat à durée indéterminée. Nous recherchons également un homme à tout faire ayant des compétences en service et pouvant donner un coup de main au gérant de la villa pour le service des déjeuners ou des dîners.
Le poste est à pourvoir dans les plus brefs délais. Bien entendu, la Villa est disposée à trouver le candidat approprié et procédera à un recrutement approprié. Par conséquent, le poste démarrera assez tôt, en fonction du déroulement du processus de recrutement.
Vous serez sous la supervision du Villa Manager et vous travaillerez ensemble.
Les propriétaires visitent la Villa de Mi Juin / Début Juillet jusqu'à Mi Septembre, pour une durée d'environ 3 mois. Ils viennent aussi généralement plusieurs week-ends en avril et en mai.
Durant la saison d'automne et d'hiver, la famille viendra de temps en temps profiter de sa maison.
Les missions seront les suivantes :
Vous serez en charge de toutes les tâches techniques concernant la partie extérieure de la Villa et vous rapporterez directement au Villa Manager de la propriété.
Plus précisément, vous serez en charge de :
- Balayage et nettoyage de toutes les terrasses
- S'assurer que tous les espaces extérieurs, l'entrée, la salle des gardes, les locaux techniques et les allées restent toujours propres et rangés
- Sortez les poubelles et nettoyez les poubelles
- S'occupant du jardin et assistant le(s) jardinier(s), en effet, il y a déjà des jardiniers qui travaillent dans la propriété. Vous leur donnerez un coup de main de temps en temps. Tout le monde travaille et s'entraide au sein de l'équipe
- Nettoyer les voitures sur la propriété comme indiqué (intérieur et extérieur, faire le plein des voitures, s'assurer que les pneus sont gonflés, qu'il y a toujours de l'huile et prendre soin d'une voiture)
- Nettoyer la piscine et s'assurer qu'il n'y a pas de feuilles dans l'eau
- Vérifier le système d'arrosage automatique, surveiller le jardin et la piscine et, en cas de problème, avertir les entrepreneurs en cas de grosses réparations. Pour les petites réparations, comme la réparation d'une fuite, vous serez pris en charge
- Transport des invités : il y a des chauffeurs dans la Villa et un service de sécurité qui se chargent de cette partie mais si nécessaire en cas d'urgence, vous pouvez y avoir droit
- Faire quelques courses pour la Villa, pour la cuisine lorsque le Chef ou le Cuisinier a besoin d'un coup de main pour acheter certains produits, acheter ou récupérer certains articles pour les propriétaires si besoin
Bien entendu, cette liste ne saurait être exhaustive et peut être complétée par d’autres et diverses revendications. Vous pourrez également être en charge de :
- Vous serez en charge de faire de petites réparations en plomberie, électricité, peinture, réparer les portes si elles ne s'ouvrent et ne se ferment pas correctement
Cependant, il est très important que vous ayez de bonnes connaissances en réparation, en bricolage et en travaux pratiques afin de comprendre le type de problèmes qui peuvent survenir.
Vous offrirez également votre aide dans le « service » à l’intérieur de la villa selon les besoins.
Profil souhaité:
- Vous devez être très autonome et capable de faire rapport et de respecter votre hiérarchie en même temps.
- Vous êtes une personne multitâche et flexible, capable de suivre les processus déjà mis en œuvre et capable d'être réactif face à quelque chose d'inhabituel. Si un membre de l’équipe a besoin d’aide, vous devez être présent. L'équipe est très soudée et tout le monde, même le Villa Manager, travaille main dans la main.
- Travailleur acharné avec une attitude positive et positive
- Vous êtes une personne souriante, vous aimez travailler en équipe et vous êtes discret. Vous avez une attitude positive.
- Vous êtes toujours à l'heure et bien présent, vous prenez soin de votre apparence, même si vous effectuez des travaux manuels. (par exemple : vous veillez à ne pas entrer dans la villa avec des chaussures sales)
- Vous avez un réel sens des relations humaines et la communication s'effectue avec une grande facilité. Vous êtes un joueur d'équipe.
- Vous avez une première expérience dans des travaux manuels et vous êtes compétent
- Vous avez déjà travaillé dans des villas privées de luxe et vous savez comment vous comporter, vous êtes poli et vous avez de bonnes manières.
- Vous DEVEZ parler français, une autre langue est un plus
- Vous DEVEZ avoir une voiture et un permis de conduire car IL N'Y A AUCUN TRANSPORT PUBLIC MÉRITANT LA VILLA.
Salaire : 2200 EUR net/mois - selon profil et expérience.
Contrat CDD français. Forte possibilité de CDI.
